Audition Guideline

Please bring the following along to your audition:

• Documentation
  A headshot and Performance Resume are preferred.
• Musicals
  One prepared song with sheet music or a background tape.
• Plays
  Familiarisation of the current play would be an advantage.

“The Pirates of Penzance”

   by Gilbert and Sullivan

One of the worlds most popular operettas, “Pirates” tells the story of Frederick who is free from his indentures to a group of soft hearted pirates. However, when he falls in love with the beautiful Mabel one of major Stanley’s many daughters, the Pirate King devices a way to prevent him leaving the Pirate gang. There is a group of singing/dancing policemen who are terrified, and a boisterous bunch of pirates that kidnap Major Stanley’s daughters. It is one and a half hours of glorious ensemble singing.
